What the AI extracts
From a single YouTube video, Clemi extracts:
- Ingredients with quantities and units, whether spoken, shown, or listed in the description
- The cooking steps in order, condensed from the full video
- Servings and cooking times when the creator states them
- Recipes from long videos where the cooking is spread across twenty minutes of footage
Where it has limits
- Private and members-only videos can't be imported. Clemi only reads public videos.
- Videos without real recipe content, like reviews or taste tests, won't produce a usable recipe.
- Very long videos take a little more time to process than a short clip.

Yes. Shorts, regular videos, and shortened youtu.be links all import the same way: paste the link or share it to Clemi.
Does Clemi read the description box?
Yes. Many creators list exact ingredients in the description, and the AI combines that with what is said and shown in the video.
What if the creator never writes anything down?

Does my recipe survive if the video is taken down?
