By accessing or using Clemi ("the app", "we", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Clemi is a recipe companion app that allows you to save recipes from various sources, plan meals, and share grocery lists with your household. We offer both free and premium features.

3. User Accounts

• Clemi uses anonymous authentication. No email or password is required to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and account access.
• You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Account deletion is permanent and irreversible.

4. User Content

• You retain ownership of all content you create or import into Clemi, including recipes, grocery lists, and meal plans.
• By using the app, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any content you import (e.g., recipes from third-party websites or social media).

5. AI-Powered Features

• Clemi uses AI to extract recipes from images, videos, and URLs, as well as to suggest ingredient substitutions and generate images.
• AI-generated content is provided "as is" and may contain errors. Always verify recipes, especially for allergens and dietary requirements.
• AI features consume credits. Credit usage and pricing are displayed in the app.

6. Subscriptions and Purchases

• Premium features are available through in-app purchases and subscriptions.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Subscription management and cancellation are handled through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
• Refunds are subject to the policies of the respective app store.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app.
• Interfere with or disrupt the app's infrastructure or other users' access.
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the service.
• Share content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others.

8. Shared Features

• Grocery list sharing requires an explicit action (generating a temporary share code).
• You are responsible for the content shared with other members of your household.
• You may revoke access to shared lists at any time by removing members.

9. Disclaimers

• Clemi is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We do not guarantee that the app will be available at all times or free from errors.
• We are not responsible for the accuracy of AI-generated content, third-party recipes, or nutritional information.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clemi and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or on this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
